COMING How
to do a Fishing Weekend |
How to do a Family Weekend Friday Night: Arrive at Island House and begin what you came for – relax. Get the blender out and make a batch of margaritas. Turn on the stereo, sit on the front porch and just sit in the fresh breeze off of Aransas Bay. Saturday Morning: If your kids are old enough, put the boat in the water and take them fishing. If you have young kids, take them to Rockport Beach. Too stressful? Then sleep in and have a late breakfast at one of the restaurants in the Island House Restaurant Guide. Early Afternoon: During the hot part of the day, Island House recommends cooling the kids off at the Key Allegro Swimming Pool. Late Afternoon: Crank the boat up again and hit the Ski Basin for water skiing, riding Wave Runners, or pulling the kids in an inner tube. Saturday
Evening: Mix refreshments
and load them in the boat. Cruise
the canals around Key Allegro. Then
take the boat over to
Paradise
Key Island Bar & Grill for dinner on the water or utilize
Island House’s full kitchen to make your own gourmet meal. Sunday Morning: Go crabbing. We won't tell you our secret spots, but most of the shoreline in Rockport-Fulton holds crab. Too much sun or tired? Sleep late and have brunch. Contact: Skip 361-729-3699 or SKIP@CMHENKEL.COM |
